Learn the ways of the Bay by sailing on the beautiful tall ship Seaward. The captain and crew will show you how to run this great sailing ship, while building your knowledge of the history and navigation of the Bay. Learn how to serve the Bay by riding on it. Earn the Council’s Own Award: Girl Scouts Save the Bay’s “In the Wind” Badge or Interest Project.
At Call of the Sea, our mission is to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to connect with the sea aboard traditional sailing vessels through educational programs that focus on marine sciences, nautical heritage, and the traditions of the sea. Our youth-oriented sail training programs are designed to build self-confidence, discipline, and teamwork as part of a ship’s crew. Schooner Seaward also offers Community Sails, Special Events, and Private Charters.
